SERVICES
We have a wide range of service across our three churches – from family friendly services to quieter, reflective services, from modern language to the Book of Common Prayer.
You’re welcome to join us.
St Dunstan's
Sunday 8am Holy Communion
A quiet, said service which follows the Book of Common Prayer and has a brief sermon.

Sunday 9.30am Parish Eucharist
This service has modern language and has hymns along with other music. We are very happy for families to come to this service. There is a small play area towards the front of church. A few times a year this may be a Service of the Word (no Holy Communion). Please see the latest parish calendar for more information.

Wednesday 11am Holy Communion
Similar to the 8am service on Sundays, this follows the Book of Common Prayer and with a homily. We often remember the lives of saints and other influential Christians. We occasionally join with St Alban’s at 10.00am – please check the latest parish calendar.

St Alban’s

Sunday 10.45am Eucharist
A service using modern language, with hymns, and a small Sunday School during term time. A few times a year this may be a Service of the Word (no Communion). Please see the latest church calendar for more information.

Wednesday, 10am
Table Eucharist: A more informal Communion service, seated together around a table. This usually takes place on the last Wednesday of each month. Please see the latest calendar for more information.

St Oswald's

Sunday 10am Eucharist or Service of the Word
A service using modern language, with hymns, a choir and a Sunday School during term time. We have a monthly Service of the Word (usually on the first Sunday of the month). Others services are the Eucharist.

Night Prayer with Holy Groups - Tuesday evenings at 9pm (online on Facebook)
Steph leads us through Night Prayer on Tuesdays - follow this link to Holy Ground Facebook page to join online

ChristChurch with St Philip
Cheam Parish no longer streams services online but if you are wanting to stream a local online church service - can we suggest you follow ChristChurch with St Philip who stream their Sunday services via Facebook. If you're lucky you'll see Hannah leading a service as she splits her time between Christ Church with St Philip and St Oswald's.

Children In Our Church Services and Family Services
We fully recognise that it can feel daunting and challenging to bring children to a church service. During school term time, we offer Sunday Schools for children of primary school age across the parish at our main Sunday morning services. We are more than happy for babies and younger children to be in church – we really won’t mind if they make a noise! Older children are encouraged to find their own place in church, perhaps by joining one of our choirs or the serving teams.

We are also starting a monthly Family Service at St Dunstan's Church - look out on Latest News for when!
Holy Ground on Facebook

Holy Ground is a Facebook page for the people of Cheam, Worcester Park and Belmont. It’s a page that, we hope, will attract followers of Jesus Christ, curious spiritual seekers and everyone in between; building community and helping us to grow in faith, hope and love.
As we look to be more collaborative, more creative and more risk-taking in our communities, the ground on which we are standing feels full of the promise of new life, new possibilities; a place of sacred encounter. Holy Ground may be a space in which we can explore together what God may be inviting us to step into.
