Worship on Sunday 22nd November 2020 - Christ the King

We will be live-streaming a Eucharist on Sunday 22th November November 2020 and we look forward to welcoming you:

9.30am - Parish Eucharist

The Order of Service can be found here.

There will be two hymns during the service:

Offertory Hymn - Immortal Invisible, God Only Wise (Walter Chalmers Smith 1824-1908)

Immortal, invisible, God only wise, in light inaccessible hid from our eyes, most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise.

Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might; thy justice like mountains high soaring above thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.

Great Father of glory, pure Father of light, thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight; all praise we would render; O help us to see 'tis only the splendor of light hideth thee!

Final Hymn - Let All The World In Every Corner Sing (George Herbert 1593-1633)

Let all the world in ev'ry corner sing, "My God and King!" The heav'ns are not too high, God's praise may thither fly; the earth is not too low, God's praises there may grow. Let all the world in ev'ry corner sing, "My God and King!"

Let all the world in ev'ry corner sing, "My God and King!" The church with psalms must shout: no door can keep them out. But, more than all, the heart must bear the longest part. Let all the world in ev'ery corner sing, "My God and King!"
