Coronavirus - A Plan For Prayer And Worship

Updated: Mar 22, 2020

THIS PLAN FOR OPENING THE CHURCH FOR PRIVATE PRAYER IS NO LONGER CURRENT FOLLOWING THE FULL CLOSURE OF OUR CHURCHES ON 23RD MARCH 2020. PLEASE REFER TO LATER POSTS FOR MORE INFORMATION.

We are going to try the following pattern for prayer and worship in the next week or so:

Sunday 22nd March - Mothering Sunday

  • 9.30am: a simple Eucharist will be held at St Dunstan's behind closed doors with very limited attendance. This service will be recorded and uploaded on to our YouTube channel later in the day. Our channel can be found here.

  • 10.15am-11.00am: St Dunstan's will be open for private prayer (following strict rules about hygiene and physical distance).

Wednesday 25th March

  • 10.30am-12.00pm: The church will be open for private prayer (following strict rules about hygiene and physical distance).

General Prayer

  • Our 'Prayer At Home' booklet is available to download here. Printed versions are available in all three churches and we will upload accompanying videos for this on to our YouTube channel.

We will try to keep St Dunstan's open during the opening hours of our Parish Office (Tuesday-Friday 9.30am - 12.00pm) although this might not always be possible.
