Christmas - It's Getting Closer...

It's only a little more than a week to go until Christmas and our anticipation is growing by the day!

It's our parish service of Nine Lessons and Carols at St Dunstan's this Sunday evening at 6pm. Let's join together for some joyful singing - not to mention mulled wine and minced pies afterwards.

If you find Christmas to be a difficult time, come along to the Longest Night Service - 7pm on Tuesday 21st December at St Alban's. There will be plenty of space to take time and reflect.

If you have young children, there are crib services at each of our churches on Christmas Eve, when we will build our nativity scenes whilst telling the story of Jesus' birth and singing carols. Our Christmas morning services are also relaxed - so don't worry about bringing children.

There's also the chance to mark the first Eucharist of Christmas. These services are always special. They take place at 8pm at St Alban's and 11.30pm at St Oswald's and St Dunstan's. Come along early to be sure of a good seat, especially at St Dunstan's.

Whichever service you come along to, there will be music and celebration as well as space to stop, think, and pray and we mark Christmas and the birth of Jesus here in Cheam.

So - let's get together and celebrate!
